Anticipatory Fire Demo in Godot
No user input required for the demo.
I've been searching for guides/demos on "smart" 2D targetting in Godot - where the weapon shoots in advance, to account for target motion. Didn't find it, so made the demo myself.
Project files are available for Godot 3.5. Everything is contained in one folder. Although the technique I used is rather simple, and could be easily incorporated in any game engine.
Have a nice day :D

It's an interesting comparison between dumb and slow, smart and slow, and smart and fast. Thanks for sharing.
